Langtang area is one of the wildest and most scenic areas in Nepal. This is a narrow valley, that lies just south of the Tibetan border, sandwiched between the main Himalayan range to the north and slightly lower range of snow clad peaks to the south. This high and isolated region is inhabited by people of Tibetan origin, who practice Buddhism. A trek through Langtang valley offers an opportunity to explore villages and monastries and to visit glaciers at the head of the valley. This route lets us experience the whole range of Himalayan topography. Along this route we will see great rhododendron forests, conifers on the more gradual slopes, high alpine yak pastures, glaciers and Lakes of Gosaikunda along with massive peaks.
